The Listener
I'm an independent Hi-Fi enthusiast with a deep love for Chi-Fi and the broader world of personal audio. SilkOhm exists to share honest, detailed impressions of IEMs, DACs, DAPs, cables, and everything in between — no ads, no affiliate-link bias, just my unfiltered feedback.
My Tuning Preference
Lush & warm, basshead, vocal-forward. If it thumps, if it pulls you into the midrange, if the timbre feels rich and analog — that's the sweet spot. My reviews are always colored by this preference, so hopefully that transparency helps guide your own listening choices.
Listening Setup
I primarily stream through Plexamp and Tidal.
I currently use the BTR17 as my portable DAC, and the K11 R2R as my desktop DAC.
